I did not have high hopes when I first came here, but after eating here, I would definitely recommend this place.
The chicken is most, tender, and flavored well without being overpowering.
The price is very ready on your wallet.
The noodles are delicious and portion sizes are decent.
This place is a solid 4.5 stars, but because I can't put that rating, I felt it appropriate to round up to five stars rather than down to 4.

Flavorless and barely warm. Garlic chicken had no garlic. Salt&Pepper chicken had neither. Noodles were bland. Curry a mess af nasty stuff. Starving and couldn't eat half of it.

This is not a noodle bar it only has one noodle dish. This has to be the worst takeaway I have ever had. There was no meat at all, just lumps of fat- I have no idea what kind of animal they may have come from.

There's a lot of inexpensive takeaway/quick dine places near Paddington Station, including fast food chains.  Being hungry but wanting a simple meal, Wox looked interesting because of a buffet-like display of ready made dishes that could be quickly assembled.  And it was clean/bright.   For 5 Pounds, they offer a basic combination plate of rice or noodles, plus 2 other items.  In my case I chose noodles with Malaysian spicy chicken and sweet & sour chicken.  (for some reason, all the proteins were chicken that day).

I wasn't expecting much, but the Malaysian selection was very spicy and the S&S was tender and bold.  Usually Asian buffets are bland and sometimes tough from sitting too long.  This was a nice surprise... possibly like the food stall places in Singapore.  Not fancy, but good.  There are a couple of seats inside and 2 small tables out front.  You wouldn't take a date there, but if you want to grab some food on the fly, you might try Wox.

They have a lot of other dishes on the menu, in addition to the small buffet offering.

Cheap and cheerful. Box of fried noodles and sweet sour prawns do me well. just mix and match, but probably more authentic in taste than lot of other places.
